lovely sketches. so did the muse join you guys at the swamp?
Thanks! Maybe she did. For the sketch that I titled White Princes, there was a point when the egrets and sandpipers suddenly started dipping their beaks into the shallow water, as if on cue. When I saw that through the binoculars, it made me think of strings being plucked. Or single notes on piano keys sounding out clear yet soft, as each of the many beaks struck the water.
