Macro photography – Orchid

Took this with my Canon Casio EX-Z750 digital camera, at 7 mega-pixels setting. I’m no botanist btw, and neither am I a good photographer. All I know is I find Macro photography facinating.

… we get this:

Notice how there seems to be sharp “horns” protruding from the petal. Something as soft and fragile like a flower petal actually as details up close… amazing. The one you see above is at 400 x 370 pixels (click on the image to see the larger photo at 823 x 761 pixels).
