“Misty Naejangsan” (#279: Project 365 Sketches)
2013, Sun 6 Oct. There’s a national park in South Korea called Naejangsan. Years ago, the missus and I, like hundreds of thousands of tourists before us, hiked there as part of a tour group. We were not as prepared for the physical exertion as we thought we would be. Old Korean grannies were skipping along the path, breezing past us. But with the ardour of the climb behind us, we remembered only the reward of a forest of cool green, speckled with the gold of oncoming autumn.
