“Reflection of a Considerate Girl” (#185: Project 365 Sketches)
2013, Thurs 4 Jul. This is a sketch of how I saw that young girl, through the reflection on the glass. I did not catch her face. Her actions got my attention though. She gave up her seat to an old woman. The young girl, a teenager and obviously a foreigner based on her accent, even apologised to the older lady: that she didn’t give up her seat earlier because she did not notice her. Then the young lady stood and nonchalantly fiddled on her phone. When a seat became available next to the old lady, the old lady patted the space and offered it to the young girl.
